AUTH. The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is ENIGMA’s Coordinator and has extensive experience in EU project management and participation, Remote sensing, Photogrammetry, 3D object reconstruction, Decision Support Systems, web applications development, and big data handling.
KIKLO is a spin-off company of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. KIKLO’s main aim is to transfer and exploit the technology developed in various research projects implemented by its founders in the research fields of photogrammetry, remote sensing, laser scanning, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, and Geographic Information Systems.
KIKLO aspires to develop and bring to market novel and innovative technologies and products in the fields of close-range, aerial and satellite imagery analysis, location-based services, spatial analysis, geo-registration, and visualization of Cultural Heritage.
ECoE. The ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence is a research organization that was developed by upgrading the existing Remote Sensing and Geo-Environment Lab of the Cyprus University of Technology through the EXCELSIOR H2020 Widespread Teaming Phase 2 project (G.A. 857510). It is a fully functional Digital Innovation Hub and a Research Excellence Centre for EO in the Eastern Mediterranean, Middle East and North Africa region, consisting of three Thematic Clusters, namely: Environment and Climate, Resilient Society and Big Earth Data. ECoE creates an ecosystem where the state-of-the-art sensing equipment, cutting-edge research, education services and entrepreneurship come together.
CLK. CELLOCK is a leading Information Technology R&D SME, founded in 2003, and currently operates around the fields of IoT & security, artificial intelligence, aviation, software, and hardware. Our R&D and experience throughout these years lead to the creation of various technologies, specifically around vision technologies, algorithmic creation and Data management (AI and machine learning) security & health (EMBRACETM wearable device), GIS and Space technologies (EGNSS and Copernicus).
UTU. University of Turku, Department of Computing encompass leading research in the development of large-scale software systems including Software Security, Machine Learning, Autonomous and Intelligent Systems and Cybersecurity, co-design, UX, VR/AR technologies, Game design and development. Since 2016 we have had a strong collaboration with the Department of Geography and Geology, in specific areas such as the search of geospatial solutions, nature-human interactions and innovation development.
KMKG. The Royal Museums of Art and History are part of the Federal Scientific Establishments managed by the Belgian Minister of Science Policy, there were founded by Royal Decree on August 8, 1835. and consist of the following museums: Museum of Art & History, Museum of Musical Instruments, Hal Gate Museums of the Far East. The collections managed by KMKG range from antiquities until present. The museums apply latest technologies in research and visualization of the collections, like 2D+ and 3D, mainly applying SfM, but also CT and Micro CT. The archaeological departments are continuously conducting research and excavations in Egypt, the Arabic Peninsula and Italy, which places them ideally for the research questions at hand in ENIGMA.
KEMEA is research center on homeland security policies established in 2005 (L. 3387/2005) within the Hellenic Ministry of Citizen Protection, aiming to support security policy implementations in Greece, at a strategic level. KEMEA’s activities include R&D; training and certification of practitioners in new systems and technologies; and advisory and consulting services to the Ministry of Citizen Protection, as well as other Public and Private authorities, on safety and security issues. KEMEA is a Framework Partner of CEPOL, a founding member of the European Organization for Security (EOS), while it cooperates closely with the EU Radicalization Awareness Network (RAN). KEMEA currently employs approximately 130 highly qualified and experienced researchers and security experts specialized, among others, in various topics such as: Border Management and Surveillance, Smart Borders, Crisis Management, Emergency Response, GIS, Hazardous Materials, Information Security, Cyber Security, Cyber Crime Information Systems, Radicalization and Violent Extremist, Telecommunications, Ad Hoc Networks, Civil Protection, Operational Readiness Exercises, Statistics, International Relations, Transportation Security and European Policy, Procurements, Law and Ethics, Dissemination, Communication & Exploitation.
HPOL. Hellenic Police is the Law Enforcement Agency based on the Law 4249/2014 (Article 11). HPOL provides operational expertise, definition of needs and requirements and evaluation of results from the LEA viewpoint. HPOL officers contribute to the definition of realistic scenarios, the implementation of training programs to personnel and security professionals, the covering of legal aspects of the proposed research and dissemination of the project results.
HM. Heritage Malta is the Maltese national agency for museums, conservation practice and cultural heritage. Created by the Cultural Heritage Act which was enacted in 2002, initially Heritage Malta was entrusted with the management of museums, sites and their collections. However, in 2005, the agency’s responsibilities increased when it took over the former Malta Centre for Restoration to become the national agency responsible for conservation. Heritage Malta seeks to provide its various audiences with an enhanced experience during visits to the various sites and museums. The digitization Unit within the agency is responsible for the implementation of the agency’s national digital policy which includes digital acquisition of cultural heritage assets both tangible and intangible, managing the national collection management system and ensuring accessibility of these assets to the widest audience possible.
NOE is an SME and comprises an experienced team coming from different engineering and scientific backgrounds, with extensive working experience in Software and Solutions Development (AI-based Decision Support Systems, Virtual/Augmented Reality, 3D Visualization and Gamification Apps), e-Learning, Training & Workshops (e-Learning Platforms for Executive and Personnel Training), IPR Management, Business Modelling & Planning.
ASOL. ANYSOLUTION is an SME and develops strategic methodologies, IoT-based solutions, and projects in the field of Research, Development and Innovation, Tourism, Smart cities and Emergencies/natural hazards among others. It has a great deal of experience with EU project management and in dissemination strategies in general, covering a wide range of sectors.
MLab. MIRALAB sarl is a spinoff of MIRALab laboratory at the University of Geneva. The SME was created in 2016 to provide a professional know how in Digital Humans modelling, and in social Robotics. Our experienced team is specialized in modelling digital Humans or digital twins that can play a role in medical applications, cultural heritage, digital fashion show and e-learning applications. One of our famous robots is Nadine that can do actions and play a role in various situations as in elderly homes or as a receptionist.
