International organisations fighting  Illicit Trafficking in Cultural Property

Illicit Trafficking is a phenomenon that needs worldwide attention and is reflected in many initiatives that are taken. Below we highlight a few.

The World Customs Orgnisation developed the Cultural Heritage Programme in cooperation with UNESCO, ICOM and Interpol.

UNESCO does not need further introduction. Do remember that November 14 is the International Day against Illicit Trafficking of Cultural Goods. The Manifest dates already from 1970.
